Our team brings deep expertise across tax, technology, and business operations. Many of us have worked in tax roles, advisory firms, or built systems. Today, we combine that knowledge to solve the real problems for tax teams.
Our founders
Ruben and Ramon saw an opportunity to combine genuine, deep industry expertise with technology to give their fellow tax professionals a better way to run their tax processes.
They wanted to put an end to the archaic ways of working, the wasted spend on knowledge loss, stress caused by staff churn and the high spend on advisory costs to build a team.
They longed for a better solution – so we built it.

Just as importantly, they act as the voice inside Keeyns — feeding customer feedback and insights back into Product, Sales, and Marketing — so the platform continues to improve based on what actually matters to our clients.

Product & Development at Keeyns work hand-in-hand to turn real tax problems into a secure, scalable platform our customers can rely on.
The Product team owns the why and the what: understanding customer needs, setting the product vision, and deciding which problems to solve next. They sit at the centre of Keeyns, connecting insights from Customer Success, Sales, Marketing and the Development team to shape a clear roadmap. The Development team owns the how: building, testing, and operating the platform with a relentless focus on quality, security, and performance.
Together, they ensure the Keeyns platform evolves deliberately — delivering the right capabilities at the right time, without compromising trust or reliability.

Our board brings together deep tax expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Keeyns is led by its co-founders—Ruben and Ramon—who together bring more than 25 years of hands-on experience in tax. They’ve lived the realities of complex, multi-entity environments and built Keeyns to change them.
Alongside them, Arnold de Bruin, our CFO, is a former KPMG partner, adding financial rigor, governance, and long-term perspective.
CIO, Johan Theunissen, complements this with extensive experience in designing and scaling IT solutions.
Together, the board combines seasoned leadership with the drive to build, innovate, and challenge the status quo—ensuring Keeyns grows with focus, credibility, and ambition.
